The itinerary used by Tendi and myself in 2001 is, I think, fairly straightforward. If I were to repeat the trek I don’t think I would want to alter much, and changes would be very much of personal preference.

Day 10 – Acclimatisation Day – Manang (Day walk)

Day 12 – Trek to Thorong Phedi (14,534 ft)
Day 13 – Trek to Muktinath (12,474 ft).(Crossing of the Thorung La. 17, 766ft)
Day 14 – Rest Day – Muktinath
Day 15 – Trek to Kagbeni (9,199 ft)
